As of June 18, 2010, Rusty Hart has been appointed to serve as Secretary-Treasurer on the Executive Board of Teamsters Local 222.  Rusty began his Teamster career at C.F. in 1979 where he worked as a casual for two years.  He then worked for Browning Freightlines in '81-'82.  He started at Roadway Express in 1983 where he worked until January 1997 when he accepted the position of Business Agent.  Rusty served as a Steward at Roadway for 10 years and previously served as a Trustee on the Executive Board (95-97) before being elected as President of the Local beginning January 1, 2005.  Rusty currently represents employees of A.B.F. (Line Drivers), Allied Automotive, D.H.L., Group Benefits, Rail Terminal Services, Teamsters Credit Union, US Airways CSR's and Y.R.C. Line Drivers (Yellow Roadway Corp.)

As of June 18, 2010 Cory Haslam has been appointed as President of the Executive Board of Teamsters Local 222.  Cory joined the Teamsters in 1979 when he worked for IML and PIE Freightlines as a casual.  He then worked in the Teamsters Construction Division for Gibbons & Reed (now Granite) from '82-'85 and then C.P.C. from '85-'88.  Cory went to work at Yellow Freight in 1988 and served as a Steward at Yellow for five years before coming to work at the Local in 2003.  Cory came to work at the Local as an Organizer after volunteering time to the cause. In 2005 Cory was appointed to the position of Business Agent and currently represents UPS Part-Time, Package, Combo employees and UPSCartage Services Inc employees.

Rusty is also the Local's DRIVE (political action) Representative.

As of June 18, 2010, Tom currently serves as the Vice President on the Executive Board of Teamsters Local 222.  Tom has served the Local as Secretary-Treasurer, which is the principal officer of Local 222, since January 1, 2005.   Tom joined Teamsters Local 222 in 1978 when he went to work for Consolidated Freightways (C.F.), where he was a union steward for 15 years.  He came to work at the Local in 1996 as a business agent  representing employees of UPS, Praxair, Lanier Brugh, Motor Cargo, Salt Lake Transfer and Ashworth Transfer.  He became President of the Local in 1999 and served in that capacity through 2004 when he was elected Secretary-Treasurer(January 1, 2005).  In addition to negotiating many other Labor Agreements, Tom has served on the UPS National(2002, 2008);  Western(1997, 2002 & 2008) and Joint Council #3(1997, 2002, 2008) Negotiating Committees.  He is currently the Chairman of the JC#3Committee.  Tom currently represent the UPS Feeder Drivers, UPS Freight OTR Drivers.

As of June 18, 2010 Spencer has been appointed as Recording Secretary on the Executive Board of the Local.  Spencer was appointed to serve a vacant Trustee position in October 2007 and was elected to that position for the 1-1-08/12-31-10 term.   He joined the Teamsters Union in 1990 and works for UPS where he served as a steward representing the Package Car Drivers.  He currently works in the Feeder Department.

Clark Johnson is a Trustee on the Executive Board and has been employed by Interstate Brands Corp. (Wonder Bread/Hostess) as a route salesman since 1988, when he joined the Teamsters Union.  Clark has been a Steward at IBC since 1993 and has served as a Trustee on the Executive Board since March 2004.

As of June 18, 2010 Steve has been appointed as a Trustee on the Executive Board of Teamsters Local 222.  Steve joined the Teamsters in 1979 when he worked for System 99.  He also worked for Albertsons before becoming employed by Roadway Express.  Steve became a Steward at Roadway in 1983 and currently serves in that capacity at YRC.  Steve served as Vice President from October, 2007 through June 18, 2010.

Craig comes from a union family.  His father was a 35 year member of IBEW and grandfather a 30 year member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers (who are now Teamsters).  He went to work out of highschool for Geneval Steel and after the lockout at Geneva Steel he started driving truck, looking for a union job.  Learning Geneva Rock Products employees were Teamsters he got hired by Geneva Rock in 1985.  He became a Steward in 1987 and served in that capacity until coming to work as a Business Agent of Teamsters Local 222 in 1996. Craig represents employees of Amcor, Ashworth Transfer, CPC, Geneva Rock, Granite Construction, Hanson Structural Precast, Hertz, Praxair, Tramcor, WW Clyde and other misc. construction companies, including pipeline.  Craig also represents the Motion Picture industry.

Coming from Cream O'Weber, Marty started his Teamster career in 1986.  He served as a Union Steward for thriteen years before accepting the job of representing bakeries, dairies and miscellaneous companies in 2007. He represents employees of Albertson's, American Linen, Cream O'Weber, Interstate Brands (Dolly Madison and Wonder/Hostess), K-Corp Janitorial, Lanier Brugh, Magna Water, Meadow Gold, MTC Job Corps., RCD Cleaning Services, Sara Lee (Metz Baking) and Univar Chemical.

Jeff joined the Teamsters in 2000 after obtaining a long sought after union job with Yellow.  Spending many years driving non union linehaul, Jeff volunteered many hours over the years, organizing the un-organized. Local 222 put him on the payroll in 2007 as full time organizer. Jeff came from Yellow Transportation where he served as Head Steward since 2005.  In addition to organizing, Jeff currently represents employees of A.B.F. (City/Dock/Office), MV Transportation and UPS Freight City Ops and YRC (City/Dock/Office/Shop).

Lisa began working for Local 222 in 1992 and is the Secretary for the Business Agents and Secretary Treasurer.  Lisa also handles "special events", such as the Labor Day event, Kids Christmas Party, Steward Seminars and other union activites as well as Teamsters Life With Dues claims processing and the Local Union's end of handling applications for the James R. Hoffa Scholarship Fund.  She was elected to the Executive Board of the Local in 2001 as Recording Secretary and served in that capacity until June 2, 2010.

Cindy is the Bookkeeper for the Local and is the main receptionist at the front counter. You can call Cindy to schedule an appointment with the Western Conference Pension representative who comes in to Salt Lake on a monthly basis.  If you live outside of the Salt Lake area please call Cindy to inquire when the WCTP Rep. will be in your area.

Debbie came to work at Local 222 in 2001, coming from the office at Yellow Transportation.  She is the dues clerk (Titan Operator) and maintains the construction hiring hall list for Business Agent, Craig Eddins.
